Edward G. Velasco has over 30 years of municipal experience managing and implementing CDBG/HOME programs. He has a thorough knowledge of the administration of CFR Title 24 Part 570 and has an excellent command of HUD regulations and daily CDBG operations. compliance monitoring, and partnerships with non-profit housing developers. He has prepared staff reports, technical memorandums, Five-Year Consolidated Plans, Annual Action Plans, and CAPER reports. In addition to HUD-related responsibilities, Ed is also experienced with Successor Agency/Oversight Board operations and procedures, managed housing programs, First-Time Home Buyer Programs, low-income family and senior rental housing, property acquisitions and tenant relocations, low- and moderate-income housing compliance and reporting, business start-up operations. Ed Velasco received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban Planning from California State Polytechnic University. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
